Wow! This is too much fun! The variety of products that can be created using Third PartyFlickr Tools is incredible! Students can use images to create mosaics, comic strips, bubble captions, etc. Mappr could be used in geography or history projects. Big Huge Labs also had some amazing products that have educational applications. I thought the trading cards would be great for students to create mini-biographies, historic or famous sites, and even vocabulary or fact cards. Magazine covers and movie posters would also be great products for students to creatively demonstrate their learning.
I played with the Warholizer to create an image of My Dog, Harvey the basset hound. It was great for close up shots of a person or object, but didn't seem to work well on busier images.
